About P.J. Boner & Co. Ltd.
P.J. Boner & Co. Ltd. was established in 1978, to address the situation of relatively few instrumentation companies operating in Ireland. The Company was founded by Pat J Boner Senior an experienced instrumentation technician who at the time was a regional manager for a large multinational instrumentation company.
The company started from a home office, but within a few years, a 2000sq. ft. factory unit was purchased in Clondalkin and from here the operation was expanded. An administration office was established, customer's requirements were attended to and control systems and panels were designed and manufactured, together with many other unique, once off special products, manufactured to customer's requirements.
The company’s calibration customer base grew and some contracts that were established in 1978 are still in existence with the same companies today, nearly 30 years later! The company moved to our current premises in Ballymount as the need grew for a bigger operation, triple the size of the first premises. The company has established itself as a dependable, quality instrumentation company, its customer base expanded; now reaching over 1,250.
Modifications were carried out to provide a tailor made administration office, service and engineering office, software development office, sales office, instrument repair/calibration workshop, stores and control system manufacturing space.
The company successfully obtained accreditation to the ISO 9001:1994 standard in 1996 and have recently been re-certified to the ISO9001: 2008 to keep our quality system performing to the highest possible standard.
