Delivery
All our deliverys are sent via established couriers.
- Delivery Costs are based on weight of products.
All packages will be delivered by a Business Courier which means the delivery needs to be signed for, therefore it is better to have the delivery sent to a business address. The delivery can however be delivered to a home address. We recommend that you include a daytime contact number so that the courier can reach you if you're not at home or organise for a neighbour to sign for the goods. If the courier can not deliver after two attempts, you will be liable for an extra charge for the third and subsequent delivery. - All Deliveries must be signed for.
- All packages can be tracked via NPX.ie for Ireland or tnt.com for all other zones - your tracking number will be supplied in delivery confirmation email.
Every effort is made to ensure that goods are delivered on time, although, delivery times are given without obligation or guarantee due to the reliance on a third party carrier.
VAT where relevant, is not included in the displayed price.
- Larger items such as platform scales and test weights will carry an extra charge for delivery, this will be quoted at time of order.
Products In Stock will be delivered next day if ordered before 2:30PM. Products not in stock will be shipped to you within 5 - 7 working days of receipt of your order, Monday to Friday, within the island of Ireland, where this is practical. Products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside our control: if your products are not available within the Maximum 5 - 7 days, we will contact you and give you an estimated date of availability.

Returns -
Customer Service
If returning a product in person please remember to bring your proof of purchase. Because of the diverse range of goods available on our website we are unable to offer a replacement straight away, it may have to be delivered to you again.
If a product is defective in any way, please return it immediately and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product.
Unwanted or unsuitable products may be returned to scales.ie within 7 working days of receipt as long as the goods are not opened and the packaging remains in an ‘as new’ state. Goods must be returned at your own expense.
Any products approved for return to scales.ie must be packaged securely and include all manuals, accessories and original packaging. Do not deface the manufacturers packaging. All returns shipping costs will be with the customer.
Products that develop faults under normal warranty conditions must be submitted to scales.ie for processing within 14 days of receipt. When the goods are returned to us and the fault has been verified, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method.
Goods faulty within the warranty period but after 7 days since receipt are entitled to a warranty repair or replacement. P.J. Boner & Co. Ltd. (scales.ie operators) do have an in-house repair department, but for items that are out of warranty, repair may be not be possible in-house. The customer will be quoted before any repair takes place and an acceptance by the customer must be sent before repair takes place. If the goods are within manufacturers warranty, then P.J. Boner & Co. Ltd. will return the goods to the manufacturer on our customers behalf. It may take up to 4 weeks for us to process a warranty repair due to additional process steps.
If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 48 hours. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, please sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged goods are received back into our warehouse, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method or reissue the order and send a replacement with 5 working days.
